If someone sends an email with "Please read" in the subject line I tend not to even open it.
To me this phrase indicates that their emails are routine and uninformative and they are trying to tell me they're not being uninformative this time.
Sadly they usually are just repeating info and are uninformative, when with "Please read" in the subject.
